Well, we have spent almost a month without Internet, thanks to the ineptitude of Telstra, who has a complete monopoly on it. I can't believe that at one point not so long ago we actually lived without Internet! It has been painful! But, the good news is that our move into the new house went smoothly. We only moved around the corner, and it took two full days of moving (thanks Jeffrey and Geoffrey!) And I spent weeks packing and unpacking, but we are finally settled in and SO much happier! We have so much more room now, and a back yard too. Carmen spends all day outside, and I just can't believe that we lived without a yard before! And we can actually have people over now, as we have room to put everyone. We had the family over for Father's Day, which was really nice. Spring is here and the weather is lovely (although it is forecast to rain all of next week). I have planted seeds in my two veggie boxes, so we'll see if my thumb is green. Carmen is getting bigger and bigger, but still not saying many words. She still loves to say gagoong, and we still don't know what it is but think it is food related. She says all kinds of animal noises, and she says car car (for car) and kooka (when she hears a kookaburra). Much to her grandmother's dismay she still won't say Grandma - and she won't even try, just stares blankly. Also, if Carmen could walk up and down steps all day (with help), she would. It is her new obsession. She also likes to pick up sticks and put them in a bucket, which is very handy! As for me, I have another show coming up in two weeks, with the exhibition opening on October 1st. Busy busy busy. Sorry about all of the photos below, but there are four weeks worth!
