This week Carmie went to the zoo again with her dad. Although the gorillas weren't performing like last time, she still had a lovely time, and we will be taking her a lot more often. I worked in the gallery for both days this week-end, which was actually a welcome break from the kids. Carmen has her good days, where we just think she is such an angel, and then she has days when she is an absolute nightmare. Today was one of those days, even though she was at school for most of it. Tonight was the worst bath time in the history of horrible bath times, and ended up with me leaving her in the tub (after pulling the plug) for 15 minutes while she screamed and cried and told me to go away. It was only her monkey that finally calmed her down. Anyway, enough complaining, as I know I say the same thing every week.
Arley reached 19 weeks this week. He is supposed to go through a really happy phase until about 23 weeks. It hasn't exactly started yet, hopefully tomorrow? He has rolled over from his back to his tummy a couple of times, and spends quite a bit of time being cranky now when he can't do it. All in all though, he is still an easy little guy, and I realise how much easier it is with one than two!
Here is a quick video of Arley and his dad:
