127 + 23 Weeks

It has been a very busy week, with lots of family involved.  Uncle Sting came down from Sydney, with his girlfriend Jess.  He wooed Carmen with a talking Dora doll, I think she loves him for life.  Over the week-end we had our annual pre-Christmas Thornhill/Roxburgh family get together.  It was lovely to see the cousins again, and to meet and introduce our new additions.  Carmen was very excited to see her cousin Lucy again.  Carmen also made it to the beach over the week-end, and is no longer scared of the water!  We are now excited for summer :)

Dad and Colleen are in town for five days too.  Carmen is very excited to see her Oma and Opa again.  They have also met our little chunker Arley for the first time.  He has been a brilliant little guy, sleeping through for almost 12 hours last night, then down for two long naps today.  The weather has been amazing, so today when Jeff got home from work, I raced Carmen to the Inlet for a swim.  We were the only ones there for quite a while - it reminds me why I love living here so much.

Arley has also been rolling over a lot from his back to tummy, but then screeches at us because he can't flip himself over again.  Carmen is talking full sentences and proper conversations.  She is SO much better behaved, only having her moments when she is really tired.  Yesterday I had my first trip out with the two of them by myself.  We went and had lunch together in Milton, and it was so much easier than I thought it was going to be!

Here is a cute video of Carmie:
