We have had a great week, and we took a ton of great photos, but very sadly I managed to erase them all as I was uploading them on to the computer. We had photos of Jeffrey's birthday that are gone :( He had a lovely day though, with no work, and dinner out with me at an Indian restaurant while Mum and Geoff babysat. Carmie was quite upset that she was going to school on her dad's birthday, because she thought she was missing his party and the cake, so we made sure to have a cake with the kids after their dinner. And our dinner out was great, we now have a new favourite restaurant.
We also lost photos of Carmie and her friend Cassie, playing at the park. We took the kids to Narrawallee park, and Cassie and her mum were there, which was a nice surprise. We also lost lovely photos of Hannah and Carmie, taken when Hannah came over to our house for a playdate. The girls were so cute together, jumping on the trampoline, having afternoon tea together, playing in the playroom. They actually play together now like real little girls, not just side by side, and it is very sweet to see.
We also lost photos of our Sunday lunch out with the kids. We took them to Cupitt's Winery for pizza, and they had a blast, with lots of running around on the grass and silly antics. It really was a great week for photos, I am kicking myself.
Arley is becoming an excellent little talker, but will only say one word at a time. He loves dropping Carmie off at school, because I give him some play time there, and he cries whenever we leave her there for the day. He is a real little boy, and loves his cars and trains. He has become a very picky eater, with his diet consisting of muesli, oat milk, apple juice, Greek yoghurt, pomegranate, watermelon, corn, cheese, crackers and pizza. And sometimes pancakes. Total pain in the butt!
