The nice thing about this week was that we went Christmas tree shopping and then decorated the tree that evening. The kids were so excited, and were in the best mood, being so kind to each other, and for the most part, they have been that way ever since. It's really lovely having them get along so well and play together. It must be the Christmas spirit. Jeffrey plays Christmas carols every chance he can get, and we've decorated the outside of our house in typical Willbanks fashion - completely mismatched and haphazard :)
Now that I have finished up my painting series, I have been spending a lot of time on the new business. Fingers crossed that we can get it off the ground, as I really enjoy it, and I think it is a worthy cause. You can check it out at www.ndrenegade.com.
On Wednesday I picked the kids up from Lolo and Dida's and I took them to the park for a play. It might be the only time we got outside all week besides Carmie's very smokey tennis lesson. It is supposed to rain tomorrow, so fingers crossed that helps with the fires, otherwise it will be a very smokey Christmas!
Tonight we had dinner over at Lolo and Dida's, and the kids got to decorate their Christmas tree for them. They couldn't be more excited about Christmas. Carmie had a big discussion with me and Arley today, about whether or not the Tooth Fairy and Santa are real or if it's just parents. Arley said he thinks it is just parents. And then not another word was said. They didn't ask me my opinion, or if it is me!
