Well, it has seriously just rained for a week straight, and it looks like we have at least another week of rain ahead of us. Horse riding was cancelled, but the kids did manage to make it to tennis on Tuesday morning. Jeffrey had five days straight off work, as it has slowed down SO much. Our slow season has come early this year. However, it has been quite lucky for me because I have managed to make some headway on my two commissions. That means a lot of time in the studio. It was nice to be back there, and the kids did join me up there for a bit to do some painting and crafts. It was nice to see them doing art again - apparently they only do it when I do, besides drawing at their desks, that is. The kids have played lots of games with their dad, and both kids have started youTube channels - gaming ones. Carmie's name is Gamer Carmie, and Arley's is Evil Ralphie (too funny!). I am monitoring them for safety, and so far, so good.
Today I have had a day completely off work (which is extremely rare!!) and the kids and I have had such a good day. We've made crafts, we've cooked, Carmie and I did yoga, and we've just had a break in the rain so the kids scooted and I walked to the Leisure Centre for ice blocks. Tonight Jeff and I are going to a classical music concert in town, and we can't wait. It is an orchestra that comes through once a year, and we have been twice. It is just held at this local church, and we always manage to get front row. We are really looking forward to it, and the kids are looking forward to being spoiled by their grandparents :)
Our business is slowly but surely finding its feet. We've had three sales today, and it is so nice to hear that chi-ching sound when I get the alert on my phone!
There's not much else to say for this week, and barely any photos but for the ones I just took on our trip to the Leisure Centre.
