It hasn't been a very exciting week, I have to say. Jeff and I have been doing spring cleaning. I started in Arley's room because of his newly diagnosed dust mite allergy, and it was bad! That's when I realised we should do the whole house. We are clearing out one room a day and doing a thorough clean. As much as we love Bella, she is one hairy, dirty dog, and she doesn't help the cleanliness situation!
The year is wrapping up. We had our last private Taekwon Do lesson for the year, and the kids had surf class again on Monday. Carmie got in the water and rocked it, but Arley was again too scared, so he just swam. It was actually quite cold, so I ended up sitting in the car with Arley for a good part of the morning. The kids saw Clint yesterday, and today he took them both fishing in a boat. It was supposed to be just Carmie's turn, but Arley was so upset to be left behind that he ended up joining her. We found him crying silently in his room when she was getting ready to go. They didn't catch any fish, and barely even had any bites, but they still had fun.
Other than that, I have nothing else to add! I am really looking forward to Christmas and the week after, as Jeff and I are having an at-home holiday and doing nothing that doesn't need to be done. Can't wait!
